The only thing that threw me off was the sizing, but that may be due to the fit. I am replacing another high-end shell that cost a good bit more, but I feel like the Strafe Nomad is better thought out and more robust. I'm hoping the cuffs will help keep the heat in and the wind out. I really like the integrated inner sleeve cuffs are a great idea and I am anxious to test them out as my arms get cold sometimes. To be clear, I haven't had a chance to test this wile skiing yet, but I will soon. This is my first Strafe piece and this thing is burly, yet very comfortable and super well designed with practical snow sports features. I've been on the lookout for a new snow shell for the past year and discovered Strafe through a close friend of mine who recommended I take a look at their shells. Water resistant and reliable YKK AquaGuard® (Coil) and VISLON® zippers and snaps.Ī very well thought out shell - runs big, at least for me.
